Ceramics are used in many high-tech applications—from medical implants to space technology. In this workshop, you will discover how ceramic materials are processed and how modern 3D printing technologies are used in materials science. You will carry out simple experiments, observe a ceramic Digital Light Processing (DLP) 3D printing process, and learn how laboratory research turns raw materials into functional components.

Suitable for class 5-10! The workshop will be led in English, but bilingual (English-German) help will be given when necessary.

A few days after registering, you will receive a confirmation of registration from the University of Stuttgart by email.

Was solltest du mitbringen?

You should wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for laboratory work. Long hair must be tied back. No prior knowledge or materials are required. All necessary equipment and safety gear will be provided on site. Food and drinks are not permitted in the laboratory areas.
