Have you ever wondered how applications are made? Applications are very complex creations, and during this event, we will explore the basics of programming logic — the foundation of software engineering used to build them. Through both theory and hands-on practice with Scratch, a platform that encourages creativity and problem-solving, we are set for a day of fun and creation.

You don’t need to have any prior knowledge! Just come with your curiosity and a willingness to build something new. 🚀 Whether you choose to create a small game, a short animation or anything else you’re passionate about, you will leave with a project you can proudly call your own.

Our schedule for the day:

• 09:00 - 09:30: Arrival. Let’s prepare for the office tour!
• 09:30 - 10:00: Office tour. Get to know our campus and how we work.
• 10:30 - 12:00: Workshop - part 1. Get familiar with the laptop, and the tool and let’s get our hands dirty!
• 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch break. Food is at our core and we have your back!
• 13:00 - 14:30: Workshop - part 2. Continue working on your project, with the help of our mentors. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your project if you like.
• 14:30 - 15:30: Ask me anything session. We will bring people from different backgrounds so you can have your questions answered.
• 15:30 - 16:00: Wrapping up.

Age Limit: Min. 14 years old

Language: Our working language is English and that’s what we will use for most of the day. So, it’s good to have an okay level of English. But don’t worry, you won’t have to speak much English. We will have German-speaking colleagues to help you with your questions.
