This exciting day is designed to inspire, connect, and empower young women who are passionate about technology, innovation, and engineering. As part of our commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, we’re opening our doors to over 10 talented young women who are eager to learn, grow, and explore career opportunities in the world of tech.

What to Expect on Girls'Day 2025

Tech Sessions
 Our Girls'Day will kick off with a series of interactive, hands-on tech workshops led by eBay’s engineering leaders. You'll get to dive deep into the world of technology through engaging sessions on artificial intelligence, data analytics, software engineering, and much more! These sessions are designed not only to educate but to spark curiosity and inspire you to imagine the endless possibilities in tech careers.

Women in Tech Panel
 A highlight of the day will be a special panel discussion featuring inspiring women leaders from eBay's product and tech leadership teams. We’ll be joined by Ayesha, Heather Thibideau, and others, who will share their personal journeys and experiences in the tech industry. They’ll discuss the challenges they've faced, how they’ve overcome them, and the unique opportunities they’ve encountered along the way.
This panel will focus on how eBay empowers women engineers and leaders, providing the support, mentorship, and resources necessary to succeed. The discussion will offer valuable insights into the role of women in tech and how we can continue to build a more inclusive and diverse tech community at eBay and beyond.

A Collaborative Effort
 This event is a collaborative effort between Ben Lowdon, a Product Design Leader at eBay, and Shalini Rana, a Senior Engineer at eBay. Together, we’ve worked to create a meaningful and inspiring program designed to showcase the diverse and exciting career paths available in tech. We are passionate about supporting young women in their tech journeys and creating an environment where they feel encouraged and empowered to pursue their ambitions.Why Girls'Day?
